Getting Started with FormFlow

Create your first FormFlow form directly within monday.com boards; there’s no need to leave the app. This page covers installation through publishing your first form.

Installation

  1. Install from Marketplace: Find FormFlow in the monday.com app marketplaceΒ 
    Add to monday.com
  2. Add to Workspace: Install the app in your monday.com workspace

Quick Start Guide

Creating and publishing your first form takes six steps:

Step 1: Go to Your Board

Navigate to the board where you want to create forms. FormFlow is embedded directly in your board interface, so you can build forms without leaving monday.com.

Step 2: Choose Your Form Type

Insert Form: Creates new items in your board. The usual choice for lead generation, support tickets, and applications.

Update Form: Modifies existing board items. Use it for status updates, profile management, or progress tracking. Note: Each item must have its own unique form link (required) before users can access the form.

Step 3: Build Your Form

  • Drag fields from the right panel to your form
  • Map form fields to monday.com board columns
  • Add multiple pages for complex workflows
  • Configure labels, descriptions, and validation rules

Step 4: Customize Design

Customize colors, fonts, layout, and styling to match your brand.

Step 5: Configure settings (optional)

Basic settings: Multiple submissions, response limits, time limits, response viewing

Security (all optional): Password protection, Google reCAPTCHA and/or Cloudflare Turnstile, geographic restrictions

Operations: Optional Analytics tab on the board view, test links after publish, and (for update forms) unique editable links per item via automation

Step 6: Publish and share

Publish your form and share the link via email, messaging, or embed in websites. View submissions directly in your monday.com board. After publish, use Test link in the builder to check the live form.
